Wake UP Rev 3:1-6 #Nightlight #RTTBROS #RevelationRevealed RR10
Revelation 3:2 KJVS - 2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God
The church in Sardis had a reputation for being alive and active, but Jesus saw through their outward appearance. He knew their works were incomplete, their witness lacked conviction, and their worship was becoming ritualistic. They thought they were spiritually vibrant, but they were really stagnating.
How often we're tempted to coast along in our faith, going through the motions without truly abiding in Christ. We can look great on the outside while neglecting the inner life. But no pretense fools the Lord's penetrating gaze. As Hebrews says, Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight (4:13).
Jesus called the church in Sardis to wake up, strengthen what was about to die, and remember the gospel they received. There was still hope if they turned from their complacency. The few who had not stained their clothes could walk with Jesus in white, clothed in His righteousness.
Let this warning shake us from slumber. The risen Christ sees our hearts. He wants us to fan into flame the gifts He gave us, pursuing Him with passion. We must continually return to the cross in repentance and faith. Only through the work of the Spirit can we live as His faithful witnesses. May our worship and service never become empty routine but the fruit of abiding in Him.
