Matthew 6:34 KJVS - 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Friends, do not fret about the future or wallow in doubts and fears. As the psalmist said, "The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid" (Psalm 27:1).

Like looking up a towering staircase, gazing too far into the future can overwhelm us. Yet the Lord reminds us, "34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof." (Matthew 6:34).

Rather than obsessing over the summit, let us set our sights on the very next step. For "the path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day" (Proverbs 4:18). Press forward, dear ones. The Lord orders our steps and lights our path one stride at a time.

Our heavenly Father knows the plans He has for us, "11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end" (Jeremiah 29:11). So do not dwell on impending trials or unknown tomorrows. God is with us in this moment. Let His grace be sufficient for today, and tomorrow's grace be enough for tomorrow.

Stay near to the Lord, dear friend, taking each moment as He gives it. He will guide your steps up the heights if you but let Him. Have hope and take courage! The best is yet to come.

Let's just take life one step at a time and one day at a time.

Have you ever wanted something so badly that you pleaded with God intensely for it? Hannah did. She longed for a child, yet remained barren. Her deep desire drove her to the temple where she prayed so fervently that Eli the priest thought she was drunk! But Hannah was not drunk - she was desperate.

In 1 Samuel 1:10 we read "And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the Lord, and wept sore." Hannah poured her heart out to God, refusing to take no for an answer. She begged the Lord for a son, vowing to dedicate him to the temple if her request was granted.

God heard Hannah's impassioned prayer and blessed her with a son, Samuel. As soon as he was weaned, Hannah fulfilled her vow and brought Samuel to Eli at the temple. Though it pained her to be separated from her beloved child, Hannah selflessly gave Samuel back to the Lord as she had promised.

We too must pray with intensity and passion, fully relying on God's will. But we must not treat Him like a genie, presenting our demands. Instead, like Hannah, we can surrender the desires of our heart completely to Him, trusting that He will answer according to His perfect plan. For He knows what we need before we even ask.

Right Kind Of Love
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.” - John 13:34 (KJV)

According to Greek mythology, a sculptor named Pygmalion created an ivory statue of a woman who was so perfect and beautiful that he fell in love with her. In his mind, no living woman could compare to the statue he had crafted. Finally Venus, the goddess of love, brought the statue to life so that Pygmalion could marry the love of his life. Of course we know there is no truth to that ancient fable, yet at the same time it demonstrates a principle that underlies a serious problem in many relationships

My friend, have you ever felt like the person you love just doesn't measure up? That nagging feeling that if only they were a little more patient, a little more thoughtful, a little more perfect, then you could truly love them? I know those thoughts have crossed my mind before too.

But here's the truth: True love isn't about finding a flawless partner. It's about seeing past the flaws and cherishing the person for who they are. The kindest, most Christ-like love accepts people as they are.

So today, I encourage you to look at your loved ones through eyes of grace. Focus on their strengths, not their weaknesses. Choose to see the good in them. Decide to be patient and forgiving, just as God is with you. The more you practice this, the more your love will grow.

The world promotes a distorted view of romance, but as Christians we're called to a higher standard. We don't just love the lovely. We reflect the love of Jesus by loving people unconditionally.

So let's make that our aim today and every day. Rather than judging our loved ones, let's enjoy and appreciate them. Instead of wishing they were perfect, let's be grateful for the unique gifts they bring into our lives. This is the kind of love that builds strong relationships and brings joy.

"I know their sorrows." Exodus 3:7

Exodus 3:7 KJVS - 7 And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;⁠

When we sing "This my father knows," it's so comforting to know God understands us completely. As our dear Friend and Lover of our souls, He knows everything about us.

He's the Great Physician - if He knows it all, we don't need to. Hush all those worried thoughts, wondering and questioning heart! What you don't understand now, you'll get later. For now, Jesus the beloved Doctor knows your soul in hard times. Why do we need to analyze the treatment or calculate the symptoms? That's the Doctor's job, not mine. My role is to trust Him, and His is to prescribe what I need. If He writes the prescription in a way I can't decipher, I won't stress about it. I'll rely on His flawless skills to make it all clear eventually, though the process remains mysterious.

He's the Master, and His knowledge guides us instead of our own limited understanding. We obey, not judge. "The servant knoweth not what his lord doeth." Should the construction worker question the architect's blueprints? If the designer grasps his intent, isn't that sufficient? The pottery on the spinning wheel can't guess the pattern it will become, but if the potter knows his craft, what does the ignorant clay matter? My Lord won't be interrogated by one as uninformed as me!

He's the Head. All understanding starts there. What discernment does the arm have? What comprehension does the foot possess? The power to know rests in the head alone. Why would a body part need its own brain when the head fulfills every mental function? Here then, child of God, find comfort in sickness - not because you see the outcome, but because Jesus knows all. Sweet Lord, be our eyes, soul and head forever, and let us be content knowing only what You choose to reveal.

14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

"Coming Soon"
Life is full of instances where the concept of "coming soon" is used to build anticipation for an upcoming event. We hear "Coming Soon" about a concert or sporting event that is near at hand.  In Titus 2:13-14 (KJV), we read "Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works." This verse reminds us that we should be looking forward to the second coming of Christ with great anticipation.

The second coming of Christ is a topic that has been discussed for centuries. Many people believe that it will happen soon.  I have a friend that says he is no longer looking for signs he is now listening for the trumpet.  Regardless of when it happens, we should be prepared for it. We should be living our lives in such a way that we are ready to meet our Lord and Savior when He returns.

As we wait for the second coming of Christ, we can take comfort in knowing that He has given Himself for us so that we might be redeemed from all iniquity. We are called to be a peculiar people, zealous of good works. Let us live our lives in such a way that we are always ready for His return.
We can say with John The Revelator, "Even so come quickly Lord Jesus."

2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables

Living under the gaze of God is a powerful concept that reminds us that we are always in the presence of God. In 2 Timothy 4:1-4 KJVS, Paul charges Timothy to preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. This passage reminds us that we are accountable to God for our actions and words.

Living under the gaze of God means that we are always aware of His presence. We should strive to live our lives in a way that honors Him. We should be quick to repent when we sin and seek His forgiveness. We should also be quick to forgive others when they sin against us. Living under the gaze of God means that we are constantly seeking His will for our lives.

Living under the gaze of God is a reminder that we are not alone. He is always with us, guiding us and directing us. We can trust Him to lead us on the right path and to give us wisdom when we need it. Let us strive to live our lives in a way that honors Him and brings glory to His name.

Isaiah 61:1-3 KJVS - The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

This Amazing passage was used by Jesus to inagirate His Earthly ministry. It describes his Mandate of ministry that can be broken down this way.
His Mandate: • “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me”

His Motivation: • “The LORD has anointed Me:

His Method: • “to preach”

His Message: • “good tidings”

His Message recipients : • “the poor… brokenhearted … captives … those who are bound”

His Measure: • “preach good tidings to the poor … heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound”

His Mood: • “to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD
As Warren Wiersbe explains during the "favorable year" of Jubilee
"all debts were canceled,
all land was returned to the original owners,
the slaves were freed,
and everybody was given a fresh new beginning.
This was the Lord’s way of balancing the economy and keeping the rich from exploiting the poor.

If you have trusted Christ as your Savior, you are living today in a spiritual “Year of Jubilee.” You have been set free from bondage; your spiritual debt to the Lord has been paid; you are living in “the acceptable year of the Lord.” Instead of the ashes of mourning, you have a crown on your head; for He has made you a king (Rev. 1:6). You have been anointed with the oil of the Holy Spirit, and you wear a garment of righteousness (Isa. 61:3, 10).
