The Best Thing Matt 6:34 #NormanKissinger #NK #Nightlight #RTTBROS

The Best Thing Matt 6:34 #NormanKissinger #NK #Nightlight #RTTBROS

The best thing about the future is that it only comes one day at a time.”
Abraham Lincoln
Matthew 6:34 KJVS - 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Friends, do not fret about the future or wallow in doubts and fears. As the psalmist said, "The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid" (Psalm 27:1).

Like looking up a towering staircase, gazing too far into the future can overwhelm us. Yet the Lord reminds us, "34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof." (Matthew 6:34).

Rather than obsessing over the summit, let us set our sights on the very next step. For "the path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day" (Proverbs 4:18). Press forward, dear ones. The Lord orders our steps and lights our path one stride at a time.

Our heavenly Father knows the plans He has for us, "11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end" (Jeremiah 29:11). So do not dwell on impending trials or unknown tomorrows. God is with us in this moment. Let His grace be sufficient for today, and tomorrow's grace be enough for tomorrow.

Stay near to the Lord, dear friend, taking each moment as He gives it. He will guide your steps up the heights if you but let Him. Have hope and take courage! The best is yet to come.

Let's just take life one step at a time and one day at a time.

The Power Of Now Gene Kissinger

#MorningGlory RTTBROS

A lot of you are facing situations that leave you frustrated and circumstances that are out if your control. This co-vid and the turmoil it has left in its wake has pushed us all, not only to our limits but beyond our limits. I am going to tell you what I told a dear friend of mine with some adaptation.

Rest in God. Just for this moment. You don't need to do more or be more. Impossible scenarios are allowed by God to draw us of necessity, closer to him.
Here is a verse that has helped me so much with my anxiety and depression.
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Matthew 6:34 KJV
The old timers used to say "Yard by yard life is hard, inch by inch life is a cinch" I don't know about it being a cinch but it is less overwhelming.  God has got this.  You are a Child of THE MOST HIGH GOD cast your cares on your father because he cares for you. Take his yoke on your shoulder and you will accomplish his work while he gives you rest unto your souls.  Tackle the problem that is right in front of you...the right now problems are the only ones God expects you to swing at. He gives the victory.
I will pray for all of you.  I covet your prayers I have 6 in school and one has severe autism we will likely be in the same situation in a few weeks. God will guide us moment by moment.  May God give us all strong shoes for our stony paths.

When Fear Comes Knocking

#MorningGlory RTTBROS

When Fear comes knocking be too busy working to answer the door read AB Simpson's description of this powerful concept.

A. B. Simpson
When work is pressing, there are many little things that will come and seem to need attention. it is a very blessed thing to be quiet and still, work on and entrust the little things to God. He answers such trust in a wonderful way. The believer who has no time to fret and worry and harbor care has learned the secret of faith in God. A desperate desire to change some difficult circumstance may take our eyes off God and His glory. Some suffering Christians have been so anxious to get well and have spent so much time in trying to claim healing, that they have lost their spiritual blessing. God sometimes has to teach such persons that there must be a willingness to be sick before they are yielded enough to receive His fullest blessing. The enemy keeps at this work. Sanballat came four times to Nehemiah, always receiving the same answer. How many fears we have stopped to fight which ultimately have proved to be nothing. Nehemiah recognized that fear is sin and did not dare to yield to it. I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down -Nehemiah 6:3
