The Anchor Holds #Nightlight #RTTBROS

The Anchor Holds #Nightlight #RTTBROS

Be still, and know that I am God." (Psalm 46:10)
You know, sometimes the day just piles on. You’ve got the bills, the kids are fighting over the remote, and you feel like you’re just treading water in a big, dark ocean. It’s easy to feel like you’re drifting, isn't it? Like whatever you do, it’s not enough.
Scripture Bridge: But the Bible gives us a promise that holds steady, even when the waves are high.

The Need for a Hold: We all need something solid to hold onto. If we try to hold onto our own strength, we’ll just end up exhausted. We’re made of clay, and clay cracks under pressure.

The Steadfastness of God: The Lord is not a shifting sand. He is the rock. When the storms of life—whether they are financial, relational, or just plain exhausting—hit us, we don't need to find a new anchor; we just need to remember the one that’s already been set.

Resting in His Power: True rest isn't just sleeping; it's knowing that the One who holds the universe together is holding you right now.

Application: Tonight, I want you to take a moment and just breathe. Don't try to solve tomorrow's problems. Just whisper a prayer of thanks for the day that was. Then, lay your worries at His feet. He’s got the anchor set.
