"Be still and know that I am God." This is what the Lord says in Psalms 46:10 KJV. It's a reminder that we need to quiet our racing minds and focus on Him. When we do this, we can see things more clearly and find peace.
Isaiah 26:3 KJV says, "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee." This means that when we keep our minds focused on God, He will give us perfect peace.
Think of a snow globe. When you shake it up, you can't see the beautiful scene inside. But when you stop shaking it and let the snow settle, you can see everything clearly. The same is true for our minds. When we quiet our racing thoughts and focus on God, we can see things more clearly.
We live in a world that is constantly moving and changing. It's easy to get caught up in the chaos and lose sight of what's important. That's why it's so important to take time each day to be still and focus on God.
When we take time to be still and focus on God, we are reminded of His love for us. We are reminded that He is in control and that we don't have to be. We are reminded that He has a plan for our lives and that everything will work out for our good.
So today, take some time to be still and focus on God. Let Him fill you with His peace and love. Let Him remind you of His goodness and faithfulness. And let Him guide you as you navigate this crazy world we live in.
