Anchored #RTTBROS #NIGHTLIGHT

Anchored in the Unshakable Throne
"Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:" (Isaiah 46:10, KJV)
Principle: God is always in control.
Charles Stanley often reminded believers that while our circumstances may shift like desert winds, God’s throne never wavers. Anxiety thrives when we believe we must hold life together; faith flourishes when we remember who truly does. The Creator of the cosmos does not govern by reaction but by revelation. You don’t need to see the full blueprint to trust the Architect. When fear whispers that you’ve lost your grip, declare over your heart: He has not stepped down from His throne, nor will He.
Illustration: Picture a cargo ship caught in a sudden North Atlantic squall. The deck pitches violently, spray blinds the windows, and every instinct screams to wrestle the wheel and outfight the storm. But the seasoned captain knows what the panicked crew cannot see: the ship isn’t being held by the helm, it’s held fast by an anchor dropped miles below the surface into bedrock. When the vessel swings wildly in the gale, it isn’t resisting the current; it’s yielding to what cannot be moved. That is exactly where God invites us to stand. We exhaust ourselves bracing for impact, tightening our fists around outcomes, and trying to calm the very waters He commanded to rise and fall. But divine control was never meant to be managed by human effort, it is received by surrendered hearts.
“Faith does not ask God to remove the storm; it asks God to reveal His presence within it. When your hands are busy holding on, you cannot open them to receive what He has already promised.” In the consistent pastoral teaching of Charles Stanley
“You don’t have to steady the storm—only anchor yourself in the One who does.”

"Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:" (Isaiah 46:10, KJV)
Application Points:
Surrender a specific worry by name. Write it down, pray over it deliberately, and physically place your Bible on top of it as a symbol of God’s authority over your situation.
Replace speculation with worship. When you catch yourself imagining worst-case scenarios, pause and verbally thank God for three past instances where He proved His control.
Make your next decision based on biblical truth, not temporary fear. Ask: What would I do if I truly believed God was steering this? Then step out in that direction with quiet confidence.
